This mod will add new material for between various Baldur's Gate 2 NPC mods including banters, romance conflicts and interjections. The latest release, version 3, includes over 60 banters between mod NPCs. Currently content is added for the following NPCs: Alassa, Fade, Goo, Hubelpot, Kido, Kindrek As of v12, Saerileth mod and Alternatives are fully compatible. For this, Saerileth has to be installed *before* Alternatives so Alternative can patch the IncrementChapter action. If not, it is not possible to accept alternative routes to Brynnlaw for both Saerileth and Alternatives mods, as it will break the chapter numbering of your game! But to maximize the different hairstyles available, I included KS Hairdos and Saerileth's Khajiit Hair mod as well. My problem is that I've got something called "KS Hairdos - Beast Race" which I included, and I now can't find it on Nexus.
This mod is an NPC/Quest/Store mod. There are two NPCs who will join your party, Callisto and Ninafer. Callisto is a Chaotic Evil Berserker elf who is looking for action because she is bored with Amn.
[The Saerileth mod] is the only thing I can think of that would get me to play ToB again.--Attalus. The Saerileth mod is absolutely wonderful and have played through V3 from beginning to end. Best mod I've played yet . . . Saerileth and Fade gave me a reason to go back to playing with a male PC. I mean I don't get it - I have played with it because when I asked for "good good aligned npc mods" practically everyone said "oh download Saerileth! she's awesome!" - and I just don't understand. It's the single worst mod I have ever play with in any game ever. Not being hyperbolic here - it's genuinely how I feel. Saerileth is a young woman of deep religious conviction and certainty. She has extensive voicing, banters, and interjections. And Saerileth will love you like no other. We hope you will play her mod repeatedly. First Thoughts: There isn’t really too much to say here. When I played through Saerileth mod, I pictured a chubby, unpopular, socially awkward 14-16 year old creating his dream girlfriend as a Baldur's Gate II NPC (her blind devotion, her young age all seemed to indicate this). Some time ago I used BWS to download the mods but then followed the Big World Project install order manually. BWS is not maintained anymore and the dev has, as far as I understand, moved on to a simpler program that only follows a mod order you need to input yourself. What happens, though, if we try a more 'self aware' NPC, allowing player choice for some of the fundamentals?Is an NPC's character his class and stats, or is it really a personality?Can an NPC still be true to himself, even when a player chooses to turn them into a new class combination? Saerileth. Saerileth is a bit an unusual NPC modification. As most other characters, Saerileth comes with voice acting, many many banter interactions between other NPCs and her own quest. The quest is not very balanced though and her voice might get very annoying after a while.
